Still Overthinking.

Still Not Feeling Better.

A calm, grounded space to pause the overthinking, listen beneath the pressure, and begin responding from a steadier place

When your mind won’t stop searching for answers, it may be time to listen differently

Barb deeply understands what it is like to live with an active mind, where overthinking can feel both helpful and consuming. In her work, she offers a grounded presence that helps you quiet the noise, hear what feels true, and move forward from steadiness rather than pressure.

You may be someone who has achieved a great deal through your intellect, insight, and ability to figure things out quickly — yet you are beginning to realize the cost is too high.

You handle a lot. You’re responsible, thoughtful, and perceptive: the one who keeps going and keeps thinking, always working to make things better. You anticipate problems so you’re ready with answers. You’re successful at achieving results, and yet there’s little peace in it.

Depletion like this can quietly disconnect you from yourself, your work, and the direction your life is taking. Rather than trying to figure it all out — as so many overthinkers do — we stay present with your experience, so what is true can surface on its own.

What This Work Is

A space to slow down, be heard, reconnect with yourself, and be guided from within

This work is for women who are tired of living in constant internal management.

Together, you and Barb begin with what feels present: the thought that keeps circling, the pressure that will not let up, the emotion that is hard to name, or the quiet sense that something inside is asking for attention.

Barb listens closely, not only to the words but also to the patterns beneath them. There is conversation, but the real shift often happens in the silence between — where you begin to see what you could not think your way to.

The goal is not to analyze everything. It is to create enough steadiness so you can hear more clearly what aligns with you. From that place, things begin to arrive on their own: a quiet knowing that settles, often simpler than you expected. Sometimes that knowing leads to something practical: a direction, a next step, or a simple plan for the week.

Clarity comes differently — not forced, not rushed, not performed. Just slowly, honestly, and from within.

Who This Work Is For

This work is supportive for women caught in overthinking — in any role they carry whether parenting, working, leading, or holding a full life at home — who are willing to slow down, notice what is true, and work through their own process collaboratively.

This work may be a fit if you are:

• tired of overthinking and trying to solve everything in your mind

• capable on the outside, but internally exhausted

• emotionally aware, but still reactive or unsettled

• used to carrying too much for other people

• searching for calm through control, analysis, or self-improvement

• longing to feel more present, grounded, and connected to yourself

• ready for honest reflection rather than quick answers or surface-level advice

You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning. You only need to be willing to start with what is real.

“When you’re no longer alone with what you’re carrying, something shifts. And what’s true can come forward.”

Meet Barb

Barb Glass is the founder and Presence-Based Coach of Illuminate.

Her work has been shaped by decades of close observation, deep listening, and a lifelong sensitivity to what people carry beneath the surface.

She has spent much of that time in emotionally complex environments, learning to notice what is often unspoken: the pressure people hold, the ways they protect themselves, and how they try to stay steady when life feels uncertain.

Barb brings a rare combination of warmth, intuition, and grounded directness. She listens carefully, but she does not stay on the surface. Her work helps people slow down enough to see what is really happening, and begin responding from a place that feels more honest, steady, and connected.

The goal is not intensity. The goal is presence that supports practical outcomes. A way of being with yourself that requires less force, less monitoring, and the building of self-trust.

One-on-One Conversations

Sessions are one-on-one conversations designed to help you slow down, feel heard, and reconnect with what is true.

Each session meets you where you are. Sometimes we begin with what feels heavy or confusing. Sometimes we notice a pattern that keeps repeating. Sometimes we simply make enough space for what has been hard to say out loud.

The work may include:

• grounded conversation

• deep listening

• emotional honesty

• pattern recognition

• nervous-system awareness

• intuitive observation

• reflection

• practical next steps when they are helpful

Over time, the work supports a different relationship with yourself. Instead of living in constant inner management, you begin to recognize what is happening sooner, meet it with more steadiness, and respond with greater clarity and self-trust.

Results aren’t guaranteed — but the growth that comes from this process often leads there. As you slow down and see more clearly, real change usually follows. You respond differently, move through what kept you stuck, and find your way forward.

How We Begin

We start with a free 30-minute conversation — a chance to meet, discuss what brings you here, and get a sense of whether this is a good fit.

From there, the work begins with the first four weeks: four weekly sessions that give us both a solid foundation and help us understand what is working and whether there is a future in working together. If, after the first two sessions, either of us feels it is not the right fit, we can stop, and any unused sessions will be reimbursed.

Continuing

When we both see the work is valuable, we continue in six-week blocks, scheduled weekly at the same time.

Each block is paid in full five days before it begins. Your weekly time is held only when payment is current.

If a block lapses, the weekly time is released. You are welcome to start a new block when you are ready, based on availability.

Sessions

• 50 minutes, weekly, at the same time each week

• In person in Kirkland, WA, or virtual (the office address is shared once we schedule)

• Up to one reschedule per month with at least 24 hours’ notice; beyond that, sessions are charged in full because your time is reserved for you.

Investment

• Free 30-minute introductory conversation

• First four weeks: $1,200, paid in full at the start (four weekly sessions at $300)

• Continuing: six-week blocks at $1,800, paid in full before each block begins

Payment by Zelle, check, or cash, due at least 5 days before each block begins.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. This first call is a simple place to share what has been feeling present, ask questions, and see whether Barb’s approach feels like the right fit.
